This meeting will be at 160 Old Derby St. Suite 456 in Hingham, MA on February 15th, a Wednesday. The meeting is from 6-8pm. Because we are having a panel discussion, please try to arrive as close to 6pm as possible.

Meeting Topic: Working With a Team – From Virtual Assistants to Full Time Help, what you need to know to successfully grow your practice. Panel will include Leanna Hamill, Dagmar Pollex, and Lee Darst, as well as input from other members.

Find out dos and don’ts of hiring, get referrals to good virtual assistants and find out how to screen potential employees to end up with a good match. Also, find out how to deal with the interpersonal issues and things that aren’t governed by an employee manual.

January 18th Meeting – Open Networking

(open networking = chatting with your fellow attorneys. You don’t need an elevator speech or fancy pitch, you just show up and be you!)

This meeting will be at 160 Old Derby St. Suite 456 in Hingham, MA on January 18th, a Wednesday. The meeting is from 6-8pm.

The topic will be open like last December’s meeting – which involved some case brainstorming, some marketing talk, a discussion on performing a file autopsy and some raffled off business books. Come and share what you’ve been up to, get (or give) input on a tricky case or just catch up with your fellow attorneys.

The February meeting will be on February 15th. There will be a panel of attorneys talking about their experiences hiring, firing and working with a team – from virtual assistants to full time employees. Even if you don’t have a team yet, you won’t want to miss this.

Early RSVPs are great, since they make the planning less frantic (I run my law practice and work on my yoga handstands in addition to putting together these meetings, so the more time I have to plan, the better) , but if your schedule is up in the air and you discover you can come at the last minute, that’s ok too!

The next WANSS meeting will be on Wed. December 7th.
